Flacco Seagulls is good, but Flacco is too close to Falco to resist:

There are limits, Andrew, and some of them are intentional. Like college football, for example, isn’t something I have a passion to cover. But I get your point and I agree that the non-baseball months need to have a wide range of quality coverage of the local landscape. That’s the goal.

sorry joe i was coming up with the name of my flacco booster section at the stadium.

i decided to go with “flacco seagulls”

i just hope that people at tlc are old enough to remember them, or more specifically the singer’s haircut which i hope to find in wig form to wear as flacco leads us to the superbowl in three years.

of course that’s assuming that michael vick doesn’t in ’10.

It’d be nice if you could, ideally, cover the Terps in football and basketball, Ravens, perhaps the Caps and Wizards (but then you’d have to do the Redskins and Nats, too, right?), and maybe from time to time the various minor league baseball teams all around Maryland, in addition to the various odd things like the Dew Tour, etc. as much as the Orioles get covered.

If that means you need some guys like Justin to come in and fill in as needed, I’d say do it Neal. Being in Rochester 3/4 of the year, I don’t get much in terms of non-Orioles coverage – and the Orioles stuff I get is because I’m into a lot of paid subscriptions that I can’t afford to follow the Terps or the Ravens.

Yes, the more I think about it, the more I want a regular minor league post or something.
