Delusional, but good to know, and it makes everything a lot better. This team is a joke, year after year. Depressing isn't even the word. I had a mini-meltdown last night with a lot of cursing involved. Why do I even bother? What is this run, 5-26? The only reason we won't go 5-34 or whatever that run was is that the games will mercifully end. Fuck this team right now. They take all baseball joy from you. Bleed it out slowly and painfully. There's optimism for the future, yes, but the end of next year BETTER not be like this. It's torture. One positive to take from all this – Garrett Olson is “very happy” with his season. Or, great times but no news. Meanwhile...I'm glad the football talk is picking up around here. I absolutely <i>love</i> seeing that. It helps salve the wounds of this season winding down, which continues to be a rather painful experience. Tonight being no exception.
