Anyways... You gotta love Mike Scosia's "Smallball Over Logic" theory. I was horrified watching John Lackey throw tantrums on the mound. What a tool. Way to stay focused. I haven't seen anything like that since my little brother, who was probably 8 at the time, kicking dirt and cussing out a 15 year old umpire. I'd like to start a petition for the Orioles to be re-located to the AL West. 100 wins?...my ASS. My girlfriend is just beginning to get into baseball. She'll watch the 9th with me if the game is tied or close and is basically more interested in the strategies and theories than the game itself. I was telling her about the Manny-Sox dynamic and the potential for a Dodgers/Red Sox World Series and she mentioned that in "A League of Their Own" the team traded the cranky younger sister because of the stressful clubhouse dynamic, and that the rival team ultimately prevailed because of this.
