I stand by the my opinion that I think Arrieta <i>would</i> be considered, however. And I also forgot Liz, who I think may surprise. To me it seems like he's been making steady progress each year, but he still might be destined for relief. So minus Guthrie, Uehara, Hill, and Tillman, that's 14 pitchers battling for 2 spots. You'd love to be able to go into ST saying we've got our 1 through 5 guys set, but where's the fun in that?? Then it's like, alright, they can just play ball and let everything shake out without any questions. It would be a fine capping off of a very good offseason by MacPhail. I am extremely excited to watch As The Rotation Rotates in ST. Of the all the pitchers in ST, guys that could theoretically start are: Guthrie, Uehara, Hill, Albers, Patton, Hennessey, Hendrickson, Waters, Bass, Baez, Arrieta, Parrish, Pauley, Simon, Mitchell, Tillman, and Penn.
