Good for the Orioles. I'm glad to see that they're getting Nolan's name out there.

I feel like Nolan gets lost when you talk about all of THE ROOKIES. Maybe it's just me but you hear all of this hype about Matusz, Tillman, Wieters, and even Bergy. Sure, Nolan gets his nods here and there, but I think it's awesome that the O's are putting him out there. Go get it Nolan!

Word around the watercooler is that Rickey Romero is more likely to get the ROY nod.

Roch reported that they were campaigning a little while ago, but I've never seen that picture before and so that's some nifty exclusive shit. Nice work.

The communications/PR/whatever you wanna call it department of the O's has really improved noticeably.

I really hope the kid wins it - there's probably some other pitchers that deserve it more, but Nolan has been surprisingly consistent and plays with mad hustle. He's becoming my favorite Oriole real fast.

@Andrew - Neither of us knows how Reimold compares to a young Garciaparra or Longoria. He needs at least two more years under his belt before we can figure that out. I'm certainly not going out on the limb to compare him to those guys yet, but I don't think it's automatically crazy to think he could be that good.

But, yeah, whether he wins or not it's cool to see the team supporting him. Let's hope it's not even necessary next year with Matusz.
