@Greg - Puppy Bowl was awesome this year, but I question the choice of that chihuahua/pug mix for MVP. He displayed plenty of energy but I think he lacked consistency.

I watched the puppy bowl for the first 25 minutes of the game. That french bulldog Yums… man he was fantastic at getting pressure to the quarterback.

Well, we just signed Will Ohman to a minor league deal, so there’s your (formally?) legit LOOGY. I like the signing – we’ll see if he can bounce back from the injuries.

@dan the man – No, I think we definitely need a lefty. I mean, if it’s Castillo then that’s fine, but outside of him, we don’t really have any left handers in the bullpen (Gonzalez doesn’t count). What I don’t like is using some minuscule sample sizes from Spring Training of all places to decide who goes and who stays. That shit never works out well.

It’s not a huge deal, I suppose, when it comes to the bullpen because most teams end up using like 16 guys or so over the course of the season, but I don’t like the methodology on principle.
